We are seeking a skilled Foreperson to oversee and direct on-site operations, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, punctually, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. While prior experience with mechanical parking structures is not mandatory, relevant background will support your success in this role.


The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with various subcontractors on construction sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems in real-time are crucial. A friendly attitude towards all clients is essential for this position.


This role requires on-site presence and travel to various project locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the on-site workforce
  • Coordinating and supervising all site activities
  • Ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
  • Maintaining quality standards
  • Monitoring safety compliance, cleanliness, and organization on-site
  • Interacting with inspection authorities for necessary inspections
  • Providing technical guidance, interpreting blueprints, and recommending construction methods and equipment as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with project procedures and safety programs, documenting any violations
  • Verifying availability of materials, manpower, and resources for project support
  • Coordinating daily and weekly work plans for field personnel
  • Understanding all aspects of semi and fully-automated parking systems
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and installing parking system components
  • Conducting tests to ensure proper functionality of all components
  • Performing maintenance and customer support when not engaged in active projects, documenting as necessary
  • Diagnosing issues, devising solutions, and ordering parts when required
  • Potentially managing direct reports
  • Being available for on-call work on-site
  • Frequent travel to job sites
  • Other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreperson, Superintendent, or in a related role
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments independently
  • Dependable, consistent, hardworking, and self-motivated
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and diagrams (Construction Design Documents and Specifications)
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to changing schedules (may require on-call availability)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant equipment is preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
  • Must meet the physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are advantageous
