POSITION SUMMARY:

A Customer Service Specialist possesses a general understanding of the Company's services and processes, working under the general supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients.

The Customer Service Specialist addresses and responds to routine residential and commercial customer service inquiries, new residential sales, requests, and complaints, which are generally of a general to moderately complex nature and necessitate limited research and investigation for resolution.

This role is accountable for providing exceptional customer service in a timely, respectful, and courteous manner to ensure that concerns are effectively resolved.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


Respond promptly and accurately to routine customer service inquiries, ensuring that residential and commercial service issues are treated with respect and professionalism.

Effectively address routine matters related to general residential and commercial service, which may involve outbound communications to resolve simple to moderately complex issues, including contractual obligations, billing inquiries, service cancellations, price adjustments, and equipment concerns.

Return all internal and external communications in a timely manner to ensure that customer concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved efficiently.

Review individual performance metrics and collaborate with the manager to understand personal performance. Input service data into systems for billing and scheduling purposes.

Document customer service interactions in systems; update promptly and accurately to ensure that associates can track service inquiries and resolutions.

Perform other job-related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED.
Six months of prior customer service experience in a high-volume call center environment.
