Role Summary:
The Credit Review team plays a crucial role in providing an independent evaluation of credit decisions and the effectiveness of credit processes across the organization. This position involves identifying both existing and emerging risks and communicating findings to key stakeholders, including executive management and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in credit review examinations and ongoing testing activities across various commercial credit portfolios.
2. Collaborate with examination teams to evaluate the quality of credit decision-making, portfolio management, and risk recognition practices.
3. Conduct transaction reviews of new and existing clients to assess adherence to underwriting standards and risk rating accuracy.
4. Lead special projects as needed, focusing on Structured Financing Transactions and Counterparty Credit Risk within Global Markets portfolios.
5. Provide expert advice based on extensive business and credit review experience, influencing senior management and peers.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial credit, including direct lending and risk management.
- Proven ability to support conclusions through analytical reasoning and influence senior leaders.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, internal audit review, and credit risk assessment.

Desired Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of direct commercial credit experience.
- Experience in identifying and reporting on emerging risks.
- Background in Counterparty Credit Risk and Global Markets.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
