Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a well-respected commercial landscape maintenance company in Charlotte, NC, to find a driven and results-oriented Business Developer.


Opportunity:

Help shape the future of our client's company by identifying, cultivating, and closing new commercial landscape maintenance contracts with a target value of $1MM-$2MM annually.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively find new leads through networking, market research, cold calling, attending industry events, and strategic prospecting within the Charlotte commercial real estate market.
  • Understand client needs and present tailored proposals that highlight our company's expertise and advantages in the region.
  • Build strong connections with potential clients like property managers, facility managers, developers, and key decision-makers in the Charlotte business community.
  • Conduct effective negotiations and successfully close on new contracts.
  • Work closely with our internal teams (operations, estimating) to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, update your pipeline, and provide regular forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree: Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven success in B2B sales, ideally in commercial landscaping, construction, or a related industry.
  • Track Record: Proven history of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Self-Starter: Entrepreneurial mindset and a high level of motivation.
  • Local Knowledge (Bonus): Familiarity with the Charlotte commercial real estate market and an understanding of regional landscaping trends.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000+ plus uncapped commissions
