Our residential programs operate around the clock, providing individual and group therapy, family counseling, personalized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support, and crisis intervention.

Position Overview:
This role is part of a unionized workforce. The Therapist I/II/III is a licensed professional responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing interventions, providing crisis intervention, and facilitating discharge planning. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to achieve optimal treatment outcomes aligned with HealthRIGHT 360's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Address mental health and substance use symptoms through various therapeutic modalities.
  • Facilitate thoughtful discharge planning for safe transitions.
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention as required.
  • Engage in regular consultation with the treatment team.
  • Deliver services in outpatient, residential, or field settings based on client needs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
  • Meet productivity expectations for client care hours.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Complete all clinical documentation within specified timeframes.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare progress letters and court reports as needed.

Professional Development:

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings.
  • Pursue training in Evidence-Based Practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Psychology.
  • Preferred experience in providing DMH or SAPC services.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional Requirements:

  • Live scan fingerprint clearance.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters.
  • First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
