Position Summary:

The incumbent will oversee the supervision and daily operations of the Clinical Applications Training team. This role involves the planning, coordination, and facilitation of educational initiatives for all clinical software applications, programs, and online documentation processes. The incumbent will serve as a resource for staff development and various special projects, acting as a liaison for communication between the Information Systems department and its clientele.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of network systems
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience
  • Experience with Epic, either as an end user or in a support capacity
  • Demonstrated customer service skills relevant to the position
  • Independent problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both individually and in group settings
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven experience in organizing, developing, and delivering application training for staff at all levels, including physicians
  • Certification in Epic
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical applications training experience, preferably in an academic medical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
  • 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
