Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our ocean and freight forward sales team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with customers, driving sales growth, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in ocean and freight forward sales, with a proven track record of success
  • 5+ years of experience leading a sales team, with a strong track record of developing and mentoring sales professionals
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, solutions, and project management
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling to C-Suite executives
  • Strong network of contacts in the logistics, transportation, and retail industries
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide initiatives and manage a specific sales team
