Position Summary: The Director of Business Development is tasked with spearheading growth initiatives and managing key accounts within the North American market. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including market analysis, formal proposals, contract negotiations, inventory management, and fostering daily interactions with clients. The Director is committed to exceeding client expectations and delivering exceptional value, while nurturing existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate strategic growth plans in collaboration with the Senior Sales Director.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for client interactions.
  • Deliver prompt, detailed, and accurate quotations to designated clients, ensuring availability for communication as needed.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues.
  • Manage client delivery priorities through effective communication.
  • Engage in pricing strategies for contracts and proposals.
  • Promote new assets to enhance our MRO services.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, sharing both positive and challenging updates.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes.
  • Act on behalf of AerSale's Customer Service and Business Development teams.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with various internal teams.
  • Represent AerSale with professionalism and innovation.
  • Work closely with clients to anticipate their future needs.
  • Utilize pricing strategies to optimize value for both AerSale and our clients.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing within the industry.
  • Prior experience in the aviation sector, particularly with contracts.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Adept at generating various reports as needed.
  • Willingness to be accessible outside of standard working hours.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for typing and other tasks.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
