Position Summary: The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving growth and managing key accounts within the North American market. This position involves conducting market analysis, preparing formal quotations, negotiating contracts, and engaging with customers daily to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. The Director is responsible for delivering exceptional value to clients while nurturing existing relationships and developing new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Sales Director to foster sales growth.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for client interactions.
  • Deliver prompt, detailed, and accurate quotations to assigned accounts, ensuring availability for customer communication at all times.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage customer delivery priorities through proactive communication.
  • Assist in pricing contracts and proposals to align with market standards.
  • Promote new assets to enhance our MRO services.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, sharing both positive and negative updates.
  • Provide timely and competitive quotes to clients.
  • Act on behalf of AerSale's Customer Service and Business Development teams.
  • Support the Business Development Manager and Senior Management in executing marketing strategies and capturing new business prospects.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with various internal teams.
  • Represent AerSale in a professional and innovative manner.
  • Engage with clients to anticipate their future requirements.
  • Apply pricing strategies to optimize value for both AerSale and its clients.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to meet business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing within the industry.
  • Prior experience in the aviation sector, particularly with contracts.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
