Position Summary: The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in driving growth and managing Key Accounts within the North American market. This position entails a variety of responsibilities, including market analysis, formal proposal submissions, contract negotiations, inventory management, and fostering customer relationships. The Director is committed to surpassing client expectations and delivering exceptional value, ensuring that AerSale's standards are consistently met while nurturing existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Sales Director to enhance sales and growth trajectories.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and representative for client engagements.
  • Deliver precise, timely, and detailed quotations to the designated customer base, maintaining availability for communication beyond standard hours.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve client issues effectively.
  • Manage customer delivery priorities through proactive communication.
  • Assist in pricing strategies for contracts and proposals.
  • Promote new assets to support our MRO divisions.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, sharing both positive and challenging updates.
  • Provide prompt quotations to clients.
  • Act on behalf of AerSale's Customer Service and Business Development teams.
  • Support the Business Development Manager and Senior Management in executing marketing strategies and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with various internal teams.
  • Represent AerSale in a professional and innovative manner.
  • Work with clients to anticipate their future requirements.
  • Apply pricing strategies to optimize value for both AerSale and clients.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and detailed analyses.
  • Perform additional duties as required to fulfill business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing within the industry.
  • Previous experience in the aviation sector, particularly with contracts.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Capable of generating various reports as needed.
  • Willingness to be accessible via phone and email outside of regular business hours.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on informed risk assessment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for tasks such as typing.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs.
