Position Overview

The role is focused on effectively marketing and selling diesel-powered generator sets across various sectors including industrial, commercial, medical, institutional, and petrochemical markets within a designated territory to maximize sales profitability and growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new customer accounts while servicing and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Assess customer requirements and preferences to identify how our products and services can fulfill their needs.
  • Propose and sell manufactured generator sets, accessories, and related equipment, leveraging expertise in power generation technology.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and forecasts as set by the department and organization.
  • Support the marketing and sales of new products and/or prototypes within the current market.
  • Evaluate completed projects for discrepancies in component costs.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, production, purchasing, and accounting, to oversee project development and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor sales orders to confirm that project costs, materials lists, and delivery timelines align with project specifications and deadlines.
  • Calculate installation or production costs and prepare bid specifications for current and prospective customers.
  • Negotiate sales proposals and service contracts with clients.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships within the power generation sector to foster a positive business image for the organization.
  • Strategically plan and organize sales initiatives.
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer inquiries, issues, or complaints.
  • Participate in sales and trade events and review relevant publications to stay informed about market conditions, business trends, and industry advancements.
  • Demonstrate and articulate the use of installed equipment and production methodologies.
  • Provide management with comprehensive reports on customer needs, challenges, market conditions, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products/services.
  • Conduct all business dealings with integrity and professionalism.
