Job Summary

This role supports the Payroll Administrator in processing, reviewing, and submitting weekly payrolls. The Payroll Coordinator assists the HR department in carrying out various human resource functions and procedures for all employees of Caring Health Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll information as required.
  • Verify timesheet information with employees and supervisors.
  • Prepare payroll deductions, compute payroll adjustments, and reconcile insurance and benefit costs.
  • Process terminations and employee changes.
  • Enter, maintain, and process information in the payroll system.
  • Maintain payroll files, W-2 Tax forms, and employee correspondence.
  • Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; equivalent work experience of five or more years; college degree preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word software.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong team player, capable of performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Professional attitude and a customer service focus.
  • Acceptable competency in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to independently carry out tasks and commitments with limited supervision.
Working Conditions

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and writing on a computer. The ability to lift 15 pounds at a time is also required.

This position requires the ability to use a computer workstation, viewing a LCD and operating a keyboard. From time to time, this position requires the ability to work long and arduous hours.
