Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is a pivotal leadership position that collaborates with the executive team to shape the strategic vision and expansion of Merrimack College Federal Credit Union. This role emphasizes the cultivation and management of relationships with businesses and organizations to generate new revenue opportunities and enhance the institution's academic and non-academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development and Growth: Spearhead the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at fulfilling the college's growth aspirations.

Supervise business planning across various departments, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic objectives.

Identify and cultivate new business ventures, including partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations with external entities.

Internal Advisory: Offer expert guidance and support to internal teams on business development strategies and initiatives.

Encourage cross-departmental collaboration to ensure cohesive and effective business strategies.

Corporate Relations: Engage with corporations, non-profit organizations, and other external stakeholders to establish and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships.

Devise and implement strategies to attract and secure corporate sponsorships and collaborations.

Act as the primary liaison between the college and external partners, fostering enduring relationships.

Revenue Enhancement: Develop and execute strategies to create new revenue streams through innovative partnerships and business initiatives.

Explore and implement new academic and non-academic offerings that align with market demands and the college's strengths.

Lead efforts to boost revenue through research collaborations and sponsored projects.

Product Development and Market Positioning: Oversee the creation and positioning of academic and non-academic offerings to ensure they meet market needs and support the college's strategic goals.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new offerings.

Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to refine products and services.

Formulate and implement corporate strategies focused on partnerships, sponsorships, research, and product development.

Analyze market and industry trends to guide strategic decisions and initiatives.

Ensure the college's strategic initiatives align with broader industry and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in business development, corporate strategy, or a related field.

Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in higher education is advantageous but not mandatory.

Strong analytical and research competencies.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
