Position Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is accountable for the profitable expansion of the crane divisions within Marmon Crane Services. This role encompasses the identification and successful acquisition of new clientele, enhancement of existing customer relationships, as well as the identification, execution, and integration of acquisition targets within the global Crane Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive Strategic Marketing Plan for Marmon Crane Services, focusing on both organic and inorganic growth strategies.
  • Manage the existing customer portfolio while continuously assessing opportunities for growth and increased profitability.
  • Oversee significant bid evaluations (i.e., exceeding $5 million) across the sector, ensuring:
    • Financial objectives are achieved or surpassed.
    • Contractual terms align with Marmon Crane Services' goals.
  • Lead the Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives for Marmon Crane Services.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to identify opportunities for new customer acquisition within existing markets.
  • Explore and identify potential for geographic and vertical market expansion.
Collaboration:

Work closely with business unit leaders and corporate resources to deliver comprehensive analyses of acquisition targets for senior leadership review.

Team Development:

Enhance and manage the capabilities of the Global Business Development team, focusing on essential skills such as Selling, Negotiation, and Pricing methodologies.

Sales Management:

Oversee the sales forecasting process utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools available within Marmon Crane Services.

Budgeting:

Contribute to the development of key Business Development inputs for the Marmon Crane Services Sector Budget.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in commercial leadership within the crane, construction, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of working with large industrial clients across various verticals, including:
    • Oil & Gas
    • Petrochemicals
    • Mining
    • Power Generation
    • Industrial/Infrastructure
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly with transactions up to $100 million.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% across North America, Australia, and occasionally Europe/Asia.
