The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) is excited to announce an opening for the full-time exempt position titled Senior Vice President of Fundraising within our development division.

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Vice President of Fundraising to lead efforts in securing financial support from philanthropic contributors to advance the mission and operations of our organization.

The ideal candidate will be results-driven and possess a genuine, donor-focused approach. The Senior Vice President of Fundraising will embody the values, programming, and impact of OETA. Only the most qualified candidates will be invited for an interview.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role will support the Executive Director in overseeing the daily operations and outcomes of fundraising initiatives and membership services.

This position is responsible for managing interconnected projects by effectively allocating resources, prioritizing tasks, resolving challenges, maintaining project-related activities, and aligning objectives and strategies cohesively.

The successful candidate will oversee all vendors and related contracts for direct membership marketing, database management, and reporting on fundraising initiatives and results.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage a comprehensive fundraising strategy for Friends of OETA.
Oversee and cultivate relationships with all vendors and associated contracts for direct membership marketing, database management, and list services.
Lead the grants solicitation and management process.
Project, monitor, and achieve annual fundraising targets.
Collaborate with the finance department and financial partners on gift reconciliation.
Administer projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Implement and uphold best practices in fundraising for public media.
Maintain a calendar for the Friends of OETA fundraising initiatives, including scheduling meetings, coordinating tasks, and managing responsibilities.
Plan and execute direct mail solicitations and acknowledgments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience in business or non-profit fundraising.
Moderate to advanced level of fundraising experience in annual fund campaigns utilizing various data response techniques.
Experience in grants solicitation and/or management.
Strong budgeting and fiscal management skills for projecting, monitoring, and achieving income goals.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills, as demonstrated by a cover letter accompanying the application.
Strong familiarity with current best practices in fundraising for public media.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Philanthropy, Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.

At least two to three years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of successfully soliciting and securing philanthropic contributions.

Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience working with governmental, broadcasting, and/or non-profit public media organizations.
Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals contracted to perform assigned duties.
Ability to analyze and interpret policies and procedures to formulate, develop, and present recommendations for problem resolution.

Commitment to ethical guidelines applicable to the position as outlined by professional organizations and relevant laws and regulations.

Proficiency in customer relationship management software (CRM) such as Allegiance, Blackbaud, Razor's Edge, TEAM Approach, or Ellucian Advance.
Proficiency in donor databases, prospect research, and other wealth screening tools to support the moves management process.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to meet performance objectives.
Detail-oriented.
Familiarity with PBS programming.

COMPENSATION
$70,000 - $90,000 annually. A comprehensive benefits package including health, leave, retirement, and more is provided.
