The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Global VP of People to lead our HR team and drive strategic initiatives that support Uphold's growth, employee development, and talent acquisition. As a key member of our management team, you will collaborate with the executive team to align HR initiatives with our company's objectives and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and employee development.
  • Lead a robust employee development and retention program, including training and career growth opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, diversity, and innovation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the People Team, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in HR, with global experience.
  • SHRM-CP required, SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with a focus on global compliance and risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly proficient in utilizing Excel/Google Sheets.
