STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Customer Repair Support Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will provide onsite support to our customers, analyzing repair trends, managing inventory, and engaging with customers to reduce the need for device and instrument repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze repair trending data to identify areas of improvement and recommend measurable goals with customers.
  • Provide analysis and solution delivery to assigned facilities to support cost savings and compliance plans.
  • Lead proactive maintenance inspections for service portfolio assets, including flexible endoscopes, rigid endoscopes, and surgical devices.
  • Conduct direct care and handling in-services for OR and SPD/CSS staff as needed.
  • Ensure instrument and device inspection for maintenance requirements is managed and recorded per compliance and contract requirements.
  • Conduct basic data analysis and implement daily operations of value-added activities related to the service portfolio.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing Certification preferred.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in a clinical environment with a basic understanding of surgical instruments and medical devices.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience and training is preferred.
