Position Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Remote
Security Clearance Required: SECRET
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with clients on a daily basis.
  • Representing the organization and its interests in all client interactions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, or connectivity issues.
  • Providing support for desktop and laptop users, addressing challenges with Microsoft, Adobe, Roxio, and other deployed applications.
  • Educating and training customers to resolve issues effectively.
  • Ensuring backup, recovery, and data restoration from workstations during upgrades or system diagnostics.
  • Addressing formatting and peripheral issues as they arise.
  • Delivering both phone and in-person support for various systems, including email, LAN/WAN, user account management, active directory, standard desktop images, and applications.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting all IT-related issues, including hardware/software, password resets, and printer malfunctions.
Required Qualifications:
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification required (e.g., Security+ CE).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an enterprise environment, either commercial or governmental.
  • Proficiency in all standard MS Office applications and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of workstation administration and management, including imaging processes.
  • Basic network support experience, including account management in an active directory environment.
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gain internal support and work independently without supervision.
  • Capability to establish solid working relationships with customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Remedy or other ticketing software.
