Position Overview:

Under moderate guidance, the primary responsibility involves maintaining accurate records of inventory by documenting additions, withdrawals, adjustments, losses, and disposals of items. The role includes generating inventory reports through the collection and analysis of stock usage data. Ensures smooth inventory operations by adhering to established policies and procedures while reporting any necessary changes.

This position requires collaboration with the Lab and Production Services team, which consists of over 1,500 skilled personnel dedicated to delivering tailored lab work and research protocols.

Compensation:

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000.00

Hourly Rate: $22.28/hr. plus a 15% shift differential ($3.34/hr.) resulting in a total of $25.62/hr.

Work Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

· Education: High School Diploma or GED is required

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service roles

· Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Impact and Responsibilities:

The Lab and Production Services team plays a vital role in supporting over 500 clients across various sectors, including biopharma, pharmaceuticals, education, and high-tech industries. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing inventory tasks related to consumables, chemicals, and samples, ensuring precise inventory control and fulfilling customer reporting metrics.
  • Conducting inventory management functions such as monitoring slow-moving items, performing cycle counts, and participating in annual physical inventories.
  • Providing customer service related to inventory management and addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Handling purchasing tasks, including back order reporting, direct factory shipments, and managing documentation.
  • Coordinating shipping activities, which include handling customer materials and ensuring compliance with shipping documentation and packaging standards.
  • Managing various types of inventory, including consigned and customer-owned items.
