Job Responsibilities

The Security Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive security patrols and services around the clock. Key duties include:

  • Conducting routine and non-routine security and receptionist tasks related to access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response.
  • Maintaining order and ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and equipment.
  • Performing regular patrols and monitoring surveillance systems to detect and address security threats.
  • Documenting incidents and conducting site patrols as required.
  • Managing lost and found items and executing other security-related tasks as needed.
  • Reporting any security or health and safety concerns identified during patrols.
  • Understanding and adhering to all Post Orders and Site Operating Procedures.
  • Providing support for access control and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Issuing keys and managing access control badges.
  • Assisting with daily procedures and coordinating with escorts as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance for visitor, employee, contractor, and vendor access.
  • Performing access control duties, including static posts as directed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Relevant security experience and appropriate licensing as required by local regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
  • Exceptional customer service and reception skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent observational abilities and experience using two-way radios.
  • A clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past five years.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
