Core Responsibilities:

  • Order Selection: Methodically pick items from storage based on order specifications, ensuring the accuracy of both products and quantities.
  • Product Management: Safely maneuver and manage products using equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as necessary. Maintain proper organization and storage of items within the warehouse.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of products for any defects or damages prior to packaging. Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the supervising personnel.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Securely package items and accurately label them for shipment, adhering to company standards for transportation.
  • Inventory Oversight: Assist in conducting inventory checks and replenishing stock levels. Report any inconsistencies or shortages in inventory.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking position is essential. Comprehensive training will be provided.

  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and standing for prolonged periods. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and physically demanding setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong emphasis on precision and quality in the order picking and packing processes.
  • Communication: Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
