POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently select products while providing essential support to the warehouse team and maintaining an organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a welcoming and supportive attitude towards colleagues and management.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accurate checks of incoming merchandise.
  • Interpret picking orders and work instructions to identify items for movement, gathering, or distribution.
  • Transport materials from receiving or storage areas to designated shipping locations.
  • Label materials with appropriate identifying information.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with internal staff and external visitors.
  • Maintain a casual warehouse appearance and a friendly demeanor.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and organize them on pallets or shelves.
  • Ensure the warehouse and work area remain orderly at all times.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, safeguarding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

Work Schedule Expectations:

  • This is a full-time role.
  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This position operates within a warehouse setting, with limited outdoor exposure.
  • Regular physical activities include standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.
  • Ability to frequently lift less than 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, utilizing a dolly for safety.
  • Must be capable of performing tasks independently without continuous supervision.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures throughout the seasons is expected.
  • Utilization of standard warehouse equipment such as hand-held scanners, pallet jacks, and other tools is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • One year of prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
