Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and sound engineering judgment to facilitate aircraft development processes. Responsibilities include evaluating engineering designs, executing acoustic data collection and analysis, and generating comprehensive reports in collaboration with various engineering teams both internally and externally. Familiarity with tools such as ArtemiS Suite, Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Mescope, and/or SEA is highly desirable.

Experience in data acquisition and signal processing is advantageous.

Role Overview:

• Conducts acoustic and vibration engineering activities to enhance the design and development of Gulfstream's remarkably quiet aircraft.

• Aids in the planning, coordination, and execution of design, analysis, and liaison engineering to support the development and production of Gulfstream's products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering documentation to effectively communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations.

• Capable of addressing open-ended engineering challenges.

• Support acoustic and vibration testing within Gulfstream's Acoustic Test Facility and conduct field assessments of Gulfstream aircraft.

Educational and Experience Criteria:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables the successful execution of the essential functions of the role. A minimum of 5 years in a specific technical discipline or 10 years of broad engineering experience across multiple technical areas with a Bachelor's degree is expected. Experience credit for related advanced degrees is limited to 2 years for a Master's and 4 years for a PhD in relevant fields.

Position Overview:

Assists in the planning, coordination, and execution of design, analysis, and liaison engineering to support the development and production of Gulfstream's offerings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Contributes to the planning, development, and coordination of significant engineering projects.
  2. Provides specialized technical support to team members.
  3. Employs advanced methodologies and modified theoretical approaches to deliver technical solutions for complex challenges.
  4. Identifies and formulates individual strategies for solutions within established schedule and budget constraints.
  5. Operates with limited oversight; work is primarily reviewed for accuracy and alignment with overarching objectives.
  6. Acts as a liaison with external representatives beyond the assigned group/area.
Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively seeks to enhance daily processes and ensures compliance with customer requirements.
  2. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the specialty field and related aircraft domains to propose innovations that enhance quality and efficiency of company products.
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Considerations:

  1. Advanced degrees in engineering-related fields are preferred.
  2. The level of technical expertise and skills appropriate for this position will be determined by each discipline.
