Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NDT Engineer Specialist to lead our team in the development and implementation of advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement NDT procedures and standards to ensure robust process control and quality assurance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve NDT-related issues and improve existing techniques.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external personnel to coordinate significant technical matters and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Provide training and certification services for NDT personnel and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of composites and related manufacturing technologies to recommend innovations and improve quality and effectiveness of company products.
Requirements
  • ASNT SNT-TC-1A - Level III (Qualified/Certified) required in all five principal NDT methods.
  • Advanced composite experience (production and applications) and experience with FAA or equivalent production approval inspection methods and approval.
  • Extensive experience with interpreting codes and specifications, writing/reviewing NDE procedures, techniques & NDE engineering process specifications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Ultrasonic Phased and Linear Array, Digital Radiography, Infrared Thermography, and Laser Shearography inspection methods relative to composites and metals components.
  • Strong leadership and personal interaction skills, with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
