Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to lead and support our I&C project scope. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Front-End Engineering and Detailed Engineering, with expertise in Control Systems Design and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document the scope of work
  • Understand project success criteria and ensure client expectations are met
  • Develop and track project costs
  • Identify and communicate changes to the Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Identify and effectively respond to client issues and needs
  • Ensure value is provided to the client and develop trust
  • Review and manage all project deliverables
  • Document and communicate changes to the scope

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of related experience in project engineering and project management, including EPCM or engineering firm experience
  • Experience as an I&C lead engineer on major capital projects from the study phase to detailed design, construction support, checkout, and start-up
  • Control systems design expertise, including DCS and PLC systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationships
  • Ability to perform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of operations for the client
  • Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress, and quality of the project
