Bilingual Customer Support Specialist

As a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients at Global Channel Management. This position requires proficiency in both French and English, along with a solid background in customer service or related fields.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work hours: 11:00 AM to 7:15 PM, with training from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a duration of 2 weeks (totaling 35 hours per week).
- Excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated listening and comprehension abilities.
- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging customer interactions.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Ability to navigate information systems and the internet.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education degree.
- Experience with SAP software.
- Familiarity with the optical industry and a strong understanding of optical products.
- Bilingual proficiency in French.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls and process customer orders.
- Resolve customer complaints and troubleshoot issues to find the best solutions.
- Document customer interactions accurately and track call types.
- Maintain service levels and uphold customer service standards.
- Follow up with customers regarding inquiries about order status, shipping, and stock availability.
- Manage inbound calls for up to 90% of your assigned shift.
- Perform additional duties as required.
