Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional in the field of accounting and finance to join our team as a Finance Accountant II. This role involves the preparation of both standard and specialized financial documentation, including balance sheets, income statements, and monthly closing reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate comprehensive financial reporting packages by preparing necessary disclosure checklists and coordinating documentation with internal teams.
  • Conduct internal control documentation and testing, including process flow documentation and periodic control assessments.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external auditors as required.
  • Analyze software contracts and develop revenue recognition analysis in line with company policies.
  • Assist in technical accounting research and documentation, including relevant literature and conclusions.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and propose enhancements to management.
  • Prepare regular management reports on a weekly, monthly, or ad hoc basis.
  • Update and document policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • A strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, with a solid grasp of GAAP.
  • The ability to interpret contracts and technical accounting documents.
  • Proficiency in identifying workflows and necessary controls.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is classified as exempt under FLSA regulations. The estimated salary range for this role is between $64,000 and $96,000 annually. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) participation with company matching.


Time Off:

Employees are entitled to a minimum of 10 vacation days, sick leave in accordance with state regulations, 8 company-paid holidays, and 2 personal holidays each year.
