About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned People Operations Manager to enhance our team at Gallagher, Flynn & Company. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be instrumental in cultivating our workplace culture and facilitating our organizational growth. As a strategic ally to firm leadership, you will provide insights on vital aspects such as talent acquisition and workforce planning. Your role will encompass managing all facets of HR operations, from recruitment processes to performance evaluations, while implementing strategies to boost employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a unified workplace culture through effective HR strategies.
  • Collaborate with leadership on talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Oversee daily HR functions, including recruitment, benefits management, and employee relations.
  • Formulate and enforce HR policies that adhere to legal standards and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Work with department leaders to align staffing needs with business objectives.
  • Manage payroll processes and provide HR support to both managers and staff.
  • Lead initiatives focused on employee development and retention.
  • Stay informed on HR trends to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience within a professional services context.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR management and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in managing employee benefits programs.
  • Able to excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
