This role is a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver comprehensive assistance for a variety of benefit programs, including retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and leave policies.
2. Collaborate on the annual benefits renewal process, fostering productive relationships with vendors and brokers, while conducting benchmarking studies.
3. Utilize strategic thinking to tackle business challenges through innovative benefit solutions.
4. Manage Open Enrollment and other essential functions, including leave administration, ACA compliance, and workers' compensation claims.
5. Act as the primary contact for employee benefit inquiries, resolving issues through thorough analysis and effective communication.
6. Participate in benefits plan audits and ensure adherence to all regulations and company policies.
7. Create and maintain benefits communication materials to enhance understanding and engagement with the company's offerings.
8. Serve as a liaison for leave tracking, ensuring accurate management of leave requests.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Design and present benefits information for webinars, Open Enrollment, Wellness Programs, and educational sessions.
2. Coordinate with wellness vendors to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
3. Regularly update and improve the CAI benefits intranet pages.
4. Collaborate with CAI's third-party administrators to enhance benefits delivery.
5. Stay informed about emerging trends in employee benefits and propose new programs.
6. Engage in benefits-related projects, contributing insights and expertise.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2-3 years of experience in employee benefits management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on detail.
- Research abilities to assess benefit options.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with benefits administration software and HRIS systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary for extended periods.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer.
