Job Title: International Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled International Marketing Coordinator to join our team at the State of Alaska. This role will be responsible for overseeing international contractors and developing marketing strategies to promote Alaska seafood in key markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Alaska seafood in Europe, the UK, and the Middle East and Africa (MENAWA) markets.
  • Analyze data and statistics to inform marketing decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage public relations and marketing activities, including trade shows, press/trade missions, and seminars.
  • Oversee budget management and administrative tasks, including close communication with accounting staff.
  • Manage market surveys, research projects, and program evaluations, including monitoring performance measures.
  • Respond to requests for information and support from industry partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Fulfill reporting requirements and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Plan and organize events, including familiarization tours and international trade missions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, international relations, or a related field.
  • Three years of work experience in a related field, preferably with international experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • Time management skills, flexibility, and ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team setting and under pressure.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
