Catapult is collaborating with a prominent engineering firm in the search for a Senior Project Manager in Transportation Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and hold a valid Professional Engineer license, along with significant experience in NCDOT projects.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with the option for a 4/9 workweek that includes half days on Fridays.

The Transportation Engineering team is dedicated to providing exceptional engineering, design, and planning services. Our projects encompass a wide range of services, including NEPA/SEPA planning, public engagement, roadway and structure design, traffic management, and utility coordination. Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead project teams in delivering comprehensive transportation solutions.
  • Oversee the design and execution of complex projects, including roadway and traffic management plans.
  • Utilize MicroStation for a variety of projects, from bridge replacements to roadway expansions.
  • Engage in discussions around innovative design solutions, such as roundabouts and intersection improvements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Transportation Engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modeling is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Open Roads Designer (ORD) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with NCDOT processes is preferred.
Work Environment

The role requires the ability to work in a professional office setting with a collaborative atmosphere. You will frequently engage with colleagues and utilize office equipment. Additionally, on-site technical support may be required, necessitating access to various terrains.
