Job Opportunity: CEI Senior Inspector

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced CEI Senior Inspector to lead our transportation construction projects inspections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roadway construction inspection and a proven track record of ensuring project organization and coordination.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead inspections of NCDOT and County transportation construction projects
  • Coordinate tasks and activities of lower-level inspectors
  • Produce daily reports and documentation to ensure project progress and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Verify accuracy of construction activities and materials
  • Assist with the preparation of final estimates and project close-out

**Requirements:**

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • 7-10 years of experience in roadway construction inspection
  • Required certifications: NCDOT Asphalt Roadway Technician, NCDOT Earthwork and Base Course Technician, Nuclear Gauge Technician, NCDOT Concrete Technician, and more
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software
  • Availability for varied work schedules and flexible work arrangements
  • Pass a background check and have a good driving record
