Job Summary

As a key member of the Synerfac team, the Transportation Project Manager - Surveying will play a critical role in the success of our transportation projects. This position requires a strong background in land surveying, transportation project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for transportation surveying projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives and requirements, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Lead a team of surveyors and technicians specialized in transportation surveying, providing mentorship and ensuring project goals are met.
  • Work closely with the NC Department of Transportation and engineering firms on multiple transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by implementing and enforcing safety protocols on transportation surveying sites.

Requirements

  • NC Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, required.
  • NCDOT certification, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or a related field, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in land surveying and project management, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and standards, including DOT requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
