Work ArrangementThis position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office attendance on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with the option for a 4/9 workweek including half days on Fridays.
About Our TeamThe Transportation Team is made up of dedicated engineers, designers, and planners who are focused on providing high-quality, efficient services. Our expertise encompasses NEPA/SEPA planning, public engagement, roadway and structure design, traffic management, and utility coordination. We handle a wide range of projects, including interchange modifications, new road constructions, and pedestrian bridge designs, all while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager in our Transportation Engineering team, you will:
- Lead project teams through the collaborative delivery of engineering projects.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Design and prepare detailed engineering plans using MicroStation.
- Engage in discussions regarding intersection enhancements and advanced roadway designs.
- Work closely with a team of professional engineers and planners to expand your project portfolio and enhance your leadership capabilities.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Transportation Engineering sector.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modeling.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A valid driver's license.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
- Experience with Open Roads Designer (ORD).
- Prior work experience with NCDOT.
The role is based in a professional office setting that is climate-controlled and designed for collaboration. You will be expected to operate standard office equipment and may need to provide on-site technical support at various project locations.
