We seek a dedicated individual to assume the role of Facilities Maintenance Team Leader. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance operations of multiple apartment complexes, collaborate effectively with onsite staff and residents, and possess a proactive attitude.   • Competitive pay rate of $32 per hour
  • Full-time employees receive 152 hours (19 days) of paid time off annually, with the option to carry over up to 80 hours each year. PTO increases after 6 and 9 consecutive years with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance staff and operations, ensuring facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Evaluate maintenance needs and determine the necessary personnel and resources.
  • Assign tasks related to maintenance, repairs, and renovations, and obtain bids for external work.
  • Oversee contracted projects to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Manage procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets.
  • Maintain records of labor and material costs, providing reports to management.
  • Assist with property upkeep and unit turnover as required.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of technical education or related experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills for budgeting and cost analysis.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and residents.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address maintenance challenges efficiently.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.

Work Environment:

This position involves moderate noise levels and frequent exposure to outdoor conditions. Candidates should be prepared to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate varied terrain.
