The Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for implementing physical therapy sessions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting in the preparation and completion of necessary documentation related to therapy services.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Arkansas.
  • Active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children with developmental challenges or special needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
  • Willingness to sit on the floor and rise without assistance.
