Pediatric Rehabilitation Assistant

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Assistant (PRA) will facilitate therapeutic sessions, as directed, under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The PRA will aid in the completion of relevant documentation associated with physical therapy, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Arkansas license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children with developmental challenges and/or special needs is advantageous.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess the physical ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods daily.
  • Must be willing and able to sit on the floor and rise without assistance.
