The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will conduct physical therapy sessions, as indicated, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist with completion of other documentation related to physical therapy, as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of an A.A.S. degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited college or university.

2. A current Arkansas license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

3. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.

4. Prefer at least one year's experience working with infants/toddlers and/or preschool children with developmental disabilities and/or special needs.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

2. Must be physically able to walk, stand, and stoop for several hours each day.

3. Must be willing and able to sit on the floor and get up without assistance.
