Pediatric Speech Therapist

Position Overview:
The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for conducting comprehensive speech therapy assessments for patients as required.

The SLP will prepare a detailed report outlining the results of evaluations and will forward this documentation to the designated clinic representative.

The SLP will also create tailored speech therapy treatment plans and facilitate therapy sessions as necessary. Additionally, the SLP will support the completion of other relevant paperwork associated with speech therapy assessments and interventions, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Must possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA) or be in the process of completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Preferred experience of at least one year working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-aged children with developmental challenges and/or special needs.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods each day.
  • Willingness and ability to sit on the floor and rise without assistance.
