As a key player in our engineering team, the Aerospace Systems Specialist will take charge of the technical planning and integration of manufacturing systems. This role involves conducting thorough verification and validation processes, alongside cost and risk assessments, to ensure the effectiveness of air vehicle propulsion systems and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Manufacturing System Engineering efforts, ensuring the seamless transition from customer requirements to comprehensive system solutions that consider technical, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.
- Execute functional analysis, timeline assessments, and detailed trade studies to translate client specifications into actionable hardware and software requirements.
- Serve as the technical authority overseeing the activities of manufacturing and systems engineers, particularly in support of air vehicle production.
- Collaborate within a model-based engineering framework (3DX/iBASEt) to develop product designs, manufacturing processes, assembly protocols, installation procedures, and system testing plans.
- Facilitate design and planning reviews with Integrated Product Teams (IPT), fostering significant collaboration with technical leads, program management, and build teams.
- Participate in critical reviews and meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Travel may be required for on-site and off-site engagements.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Extensive experience in aerospace propulsion systems, including operations, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Background in aircraft jet turbine and/or rocket engine technologies is essential.
- Proven technical leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Strong decision-making capabilities with a solid technical foundation.
- Preferred experience with aerospace engine suppliers and integrated air vehicle designs, including ground and flight testing.
