Sales Manager

At Fitness Connection, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Fitness Consultant team and driving new member sales.
### Key Responsibilities
* Lead a high-performing sales team, focusing on coaching, feedback, and accountability to achieve club sales results
* Recruit, hire, and promote Fitness Consultants in partnership with the Club Manager
* Develop and train new and newly promoted Fitness Consultants
* Identify high-potential talent for growth and consistently recognize and reward great performance
* Maintain strong and consistent people practices with all teammates, taking appropriate action as needed
* Create sales schedules to ensure accurate coverage and efficient use of labor hours
### Results-Driven
* Achieve club and personal revenue goals for membership, service, and proshop
* Lead execution of day-to-day sales activities
* Manage and direct all sales team activities to ensure revenue and minimum production requirements are achieved
* Manage the planning and promotion of special events for the club
### Personal Impact
* Create and execute proactive plans while coaching and leading from the front every day and adjusting based on results in real time
* Ensure revenue and expense goals are met
* Generate sales leads through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, and phone calls
* Conduct club tours for guests and potential members
* Consistently achieve or surpass personal and club sales goals
### Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred
* For external hire, minimum of 12 months of similar experience with a proven record of success required, preferably in the fitness industry
* Knowledge of the Fitness industry as well as the necessary sales acumen
* Knowledge and skills in staffing with proven record of results
* Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) and able to adapt to new systems easily
* Valid state driver's license and clean driving record is required
* Criminal background check will be performed as a term of employment
