Sales Development Manager

As a key member of our sales team, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in their assigned territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the food distribution industry and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, and negotiate sales agreements to drive revenue growth.
- Sales Strategy: Analyze sales data and market trends to develop and implement effective sales strategies that meet sales targets and drive business growth.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement plans to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Strong Sales Skills: Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies, tactics, and techniques.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the food distribution industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
