Medical Support Specialist

The Medical Assistant will provide support to licensed medical providers in various settings, including clinics and surgical areas. This role requires providing safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient exams and treatments
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Record medical history, medications, and test results
- Administer medications and collect laboratory specimens
- Explain treatment procedures and instructions to patients
- Assist with surgical procedures and maintain a sterile field
- Assess patient condition and notify providers of any concerns
- Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses
- Document procedures and patient information
- One year of experience in a medical setting, preferred
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of sterile technique, anatomy, and medications
- Detail-oriented and professional attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
