About the Role
Kansas City Vascular & Gen Surgery is seeking a dedicated Medical Referrals Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Referrals Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all front office functions, including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
- Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information.
- Assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred.
