Apex Systems is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Level 1 and 2 support, escalating Level 3 issues as needed
- Manage proprietary software changes and introduce new technologies
- Offer full desktop support, including diagnosing issues, reimaging computers, and password assistance
- Resolve field computer problems and leverage a ticketing system to manage workflow
- Occasionally work with vendors, tracking service agreements and maintaining inventory
- 2 years of Level 1 Help Desk experience
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of Level 1 and 2 Help Desk experience preferred
- Demonstrated success troubleshooting PC-related problems in a Windows environment
- Strong technical knowledge of computers, networks, systems, and the Internet
- Self-starter able to work independently and problem-solve without direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with users and vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage demand
