Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Elgen Staffing. Our client, a leading metals manufacturer, requires a sales professional to drive business growth and expand their customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industrial markets, establishing strong relationships with key customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a weekly sales log, providing timely updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Department to ensure timely quote issuance and effective follow-up with customers.
  • Conduct cold calling and lead qualification to drive sales growth.
  • Coordinate program and project planning with customer representatives and corporate personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Contribute to Strategic Marketing Plans by analyzing growth opportunities, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and customer visits to build relationships and stay informed about market trends.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets, demonstrating strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Work independently, taking initiative and displaying a positive attitude to achieve sales goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the metal component industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Strong presentation, customer service, and territory management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Excellent sales and relationship skills, with effective written and verbal communication.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Residency in New York is preferred.
