Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the management of wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely delivery of projects while adhering to budget constraints and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels with Project Engineers, General Contractors, and Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate procurement processes and manage relationships with fabricators and vendors to support project execution.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance program for fabricators.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Estimator to guarantee that all projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop project timelines and installation models using project management software, defining objectives for each milestone.
  • Work closely with Field Supervisors to ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Create detailed project plans to monitor and track progress effectively.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, utilizing appropriate verification techniques.
  • Communicate and escalate any issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Project Engineers, and Clients.
  • Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, ensuring the company maintains a favorable EMR rating.
  • Document all project-related information comprehensively, including operation and maintenance manuals and project submittals.
  • Foster teamwork by collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership by positively influencing team members to achieve results aligned with the organization's interests.
  • Make informed decisions by assessing situations based on urgency and risk factors.
  • Collaborate with accounting to develop a Schedule of Values and manage invoicing in line with project timelines.
  • Travel may be required to various markets as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in managing personnel, processes, and vendors in a construction environment.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication; bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
  • Solid organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Experience managing project coordinators or administrative support staff.
  • Ethical behavior and adherence to business practices that align with organizational values.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction industry or similar projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and blueprint reading.
  • Experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously, ideally in the $1.5-5 million range.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
