Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the management of wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that each project is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets the defined scope while fostering strong relationships with Project Engineers, General Contractors, and Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate procurement processes and manage relationships with fabricators and vendors to support project execution.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance program for fabricators.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Estimator to guarantee timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project timelines using project management software, defining objectives for each milestone.
  • Work closely with Field Supervisors to ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Create detailed project plans to monitor and track progress effectively.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Communicate and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Project Engineers, and Clients.
  • Implement job site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards, ensuring a low EMR rating.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Project Submittals.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
  • Make informed decisions regarding project priorities and risks.
  • Collaborate with accounting to create a Schedule of Values and ensure positive cash flow for each project.
  • Travel may be required to various project sites.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing personnel, processes, and vendors in a construction setting.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Experience in managing project coordinators or administrative support.
  • Ethical behavior and adherence to business practices aligned with organizational values.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction industry or similar fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and blueprint reading.
  • Experience managing multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
