Your Role...

We are seeking a Financial Management Specialist to enhance our operations. This role focuses on the implementation and enhancement of financial systems. The selected candidate will provide assistance in resolving complex system issues and will be involved in the ongoing improvement and upgrades of COCC's financial systems. As a vital member of our team, this individual will develop a comprehensive understanding of COCC's financial applications and serve as a subject matter expert in specific areas.

Your Responsibilities...

  • Lead the implementation of financial systems and related projects, including assessing client software usage and conducting on-site analysis through interviews with end users and management
  • Utilize knowledge of accounting principles to support customers effectively, covering areas such as general ledger, equity, interest, deposits, lending, and investment securities
  • Identify opportunities for clients to engage with additional services and solutions offered by COCC
  • Collect and analyze data to comprehend functional and technical requirements for system implementations
  • Provide expert support for Financial Applications, both internally and for clients
  • Design and assist in the development of system enhancements while aligning business needs with application capabilities
  • Employ SQL coding to query database tables for research and to provide data model specifications for programming tasks.

Your Qualifications...

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the banking sector, particularly in financial accounting
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and clients at all levels
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, maintaining professionalism in challenging situations
  • Business acumen and interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with senior management and the broader user community
  • Ability to represent the organization while addressing system issues and maintaining superior customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently or collaboratively
  • Positive attitude, accountability, and ownership of responsibilities
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding results under pressure
  • Comfortable navigating risk and uncertainty, with a capacity for quick learning and adaptability in a dynamic environment
