Patient Services Representative

Position Overview:
The role of the Patient Services Representative - Clinic Based is designed to deliver outstanding patient experiences and facilitate access for families within the healthcare setting. This position serves as the initial point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all patients and their families.
- Patient Check-In: Act as the primary liaison for patients and families upon arrival, ensuring all demographic and financial information is accurately collected and updated. Obtain necessary signatures on consent and intake forms.
- Appointment Coordination: Efficiently schedule appointments across various medical specialties and integrative care services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Enhancing Patient Experience: Guide patients and families through on-site amenities and assist with clinic navigation to ensure a seamless experience.
- Patient Engagement Initiatives: Encourage enrollment in the appointment reminder system and the patient portal, explaining available functionalities to enhance family engagement with their care.
Team Collaboration:
In this role, collaboration is key. Working alongside specialized staff, you will contribute to a coordinated approach to patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across departments.
Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.69 to $29.53, with a median wage of $24.61. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including relevant experience and education. In addition to hourly pay, Gillette offers a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement savings, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and health benefits for part-time employees and above.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare environments
- Higher education (Associate or Bachelor's degree)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Familiarity with commercial insurance and standard forms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
